Mod Conflict Detector for The Sims 4 it’s a powerful GUI tool for detecting and solving mod conflicts in the game that’s allow you to get rid of trouble-making mods, empty mods, mods for another games, or technically-not-even-mods, that got in the Mods folder by mistake.
I reset my whole game and added CC little by little and it was working perfectly fine but then I got off and got back on it started acting up again with this never ending loading screen. Did you ever find a working one for Mac? I'm in need of one myself and can't find anything.
That makes everything better for smooth game. I've never used Mods.
The new version has worked for like 5 seconds for me. First it installed in Russian, while I can read Russian I'm more comfortable with English so I fixed that somehow. Then I just clicked 'save' after not really changing anything on the config screen (I wanted to fix my game path folder directory in the advanced settings at first because my game is installed in a different folder but decided not to for some reason. And after that I got the dreaded 'Mod Conflict Detector stopped working' message and it turned off. Literally can't get it to work since.

I wanted to make my own post about this but apparently I need to comment on more threads before making my own.? Please let me know is it really worth the risk? Also if it messes up my game I can uninstall and reinstall it right and that will reset my game to normal and without the mods? I have always used mods.

Apparently, there is a solution in the form of S4S for MAC, called Appletini. After registering with the S4S blog it's free for download right here: Since us MAC gamers are a rare breed, this is a work in progress and made by fellow MAC S4S'ers, ergo, updates are scarce and bugs are plenty. Word on the streets is you can go trough your CC folder and it shows you the selected item on your sim and a thumbnail preview. Doesn't look good? Throw it out! This does mean you'll still have to scroll through all your CC but it's better than Google image searching all your CC file names in hopes of remembering if you've seen the item in CAS or not (the struggle is way too real). Side note, minimum requirement is El Capitain (10.11), due to a serious issue with my HD I have not yet dared to update my OS (stuck on 10.10), thus haven't been able to test this theory myself.
I download a clothing item and as soon as i chose it my sims had a glitch of white streaks on it (while in can). Luckily i figured out the clothing item and took it out of my mods folder so the glitch is gone now. As soon as i got sims 4, i went on a rampage and download any hair, sims, clothing, lots, etc that i liked and put a load of them in my mods folder at once. (not such a smart idea) but yeah, i’ve just started to screenshot my downloaded cc’s and giving them the same name as the package files to keep them organized. (it is a headache! #dedication aha) Like. CC is pretty much anything ranging from new items/meshes they’ve made themselves from the ground up, to recolours of base game/expansion/stuff pack items.
