This has been fixed in CS 6 and now the fix is available for CS 5.5.1. This upgrade resolves a buffer overflow vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2012-0778).

We have never seen it. Adobe publicly said that Flash would ship on a smartphone in early 2009, then the second half of 2009, then the first half of 2010, and now they say the second half of 2010. We think it will eventually ship, but we’re glad we didn’t hold our breath. Who knows how it will perform?

Adobe it’s working with companies including Apple and Google to prepare for the upcoming death of Flash. Given this progress, and in collaboration with several of our technology partners – including Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Mozilla – Adobe is planning to end-of-life Flash.
